Lillie is a sweet little Australian Cattle cross girl who has had a very sad start to her young life. She was dumped at the side of a country road where she may well not have survived. Fortunately she was found and rescued in a very thin and frightened condition and is currently in foster care. Now Lillie needs to move on to her very own forever home and to become a wonderful companion to her new family as soon as possible so she can put her past behind her.
Despite her unfortunate former life Lillie is a very affectionate girl who loves the pats and belly rubs she gets from her foster carer. Her lovely soulful eyes are enough to melt anyone’s heart. She is clean and well behaved in the house and sleeps well snuggled up in her blanket in her crate without the need for a toilet break in the night.
Although Lillie is of a working dog breed and loves to run around the backyard and open spaces, she thrives in a quiet indoor home environment where she loves to cuddle up with her current family. Her foster carer remarks that she is really more like a lap dog than a working dog. So playtime in a reasonable size backyard and a daily walk should suffice for Lillie’s energy requirements. Her short and easy care coat just requires the occasional brushing to keep Lillie looking her beautiful best.
Due to Lillie’s past experiences she will need an understanding family who will appreciate her need for love and security and who will gently encourage her while she gains her trust in them. Lillie would be a good playmate and companion for children over the age of 12 years. Another dog would also be great but as Lillie can be dog selective care would need to be taken that the two dogs are compatible before adoption takes place.
If you can give this very special dog the fresh start in life she so definitely deserves, Lillie is looking forward to meeting you.

ADOPTION PROCESS:
Please Note: Nova and our animals for adoption are located from Sydney to Newcastle area and along the coast between these cities. Our dogs will not be rehomed without undergoing a meet and greet between both parties.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Enquiry form which you'll find at: http://novapoochrescueinc.com/adoptables/enquiry/
All enquiries will be via this form and general email questions will not be responded to without a completed Enquiry form being submitted.
Your Enquiry is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check arranged. All going well, a discussion with the carer will be arranged when a meet and greet can be organised. If the meet and greet is successful a 14 day trial period is entered into.
When the trial period is complete the pooch is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
Our Facebook and Google + page have daily updates and further images of our dogs.
Nova Pooch Rescue Inc. is wholly operated by volunteers who already work long hours so please be advised there is NO phone contact available.
