DOB: 31/8/00. Yellow Book endurance retired in 2011.
Since he retired from endurance Samson has been used for trail riding & has recently commenced natural horsemanship lessons which he responded to well.
Easy to c,s,f,w etc. Up to date with teeth etc and is vaccinated against Hendra. Can be tied up all day no problems.
Nice comfortable ride with a soft, snaffle mouth. Samson is best suited to an intermediate or experienced rider as he can be quite forward when out on trails so needs someone who knows how to ride. No bolt, good brakes & responds to voice. Samson can be a bit fresh after a spell however he is very quiet when in regular work. Lovely natured horse that does not bite or kick but can be bossy with other horses.
Samson is a good doer who holds his weight well. He is a mildly itchy horse that is easily controlled with rugging & his rug will be included in sale.
